Translation Earbuds (Android app, package translation.earbuds.app)

This policy describes how Ingvarr Games (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Translation Earbuds app. There is no user account. Translation content is not stored on our own servers. The app uses Google services for translation and speech, and uses advertising and analytics SDKs as described below.

The app translates typed text, speech, camera/gallery text (OCR), and conversation modes, including playback to headphones or the phone speaker. Translation and speech need an internet connection. The app also shows ads and uses analytics to understand how the app is used and to keep it free.
In Google Play, “collected” means data that leaves the device.
This translation/speech processing is used only to fulfill your request in real time. We do not sell translation content and do not use your voice or translated text to build advertising profiles.
The app displays ads through Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network (Facebook Audience Network). These partners may collect and share:
Purposes: advertising, including personalized ads where allowed, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and showing ads in the app.
You can limit ad personalization in Android settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (wording may vary by device). This does not remove all ads; you may still see non-personalized ads.
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand feature use, stability, and how to improve the app. Firebase may collect:
Purposes: analytics, app functionality, and product improvement. Analytics data is not used by us to sell your translations.
This is not uploaded to our servers. Delete it in the app, via Android “Clear data”, or by uninstalling. If Android Backup is on, some preferences and history may be included in your Google account backup.
For camera/gallery translation, text is extracted on the device. The photo is not uploaded to our servers. Only recognized text may be sent for translation (section 3.1).
We do not collect GPS coordinates. On some Android versions a location permission is required to scan Bluetooth headphones. Ad and analytics partners may infer approximate location from IP address.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, SMS, or payment card data, and we do not require an account. Third-party ad/analytics SDKs may still process device identifiers as described above.
We share data with these providers so the app can work, show ads, and measure usage:
These providers have their own policies and may process data outside your country, including the United States. Do not dictate passwords, payment numbers, or other secrets into the translator.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to service providers who process data only on our instructions.
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age in violation of applicable law. In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided the Service Provider with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (ingvarrgames@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Legal bases (EEA/UK): performance of the service you request; legitimate interests in operating a free ad-supported app and understanding usage; consent where required (microphone, camera, nearby devices, and personalized ads where the law requires consent).
